	This was done for a daily sketch over at CGTalk. It's some sort of magical, yet tiny monolith deep in the forest. Photoshop from scratch, 2008.

22 Dec 2008	'' AlpineBob ''	Loading... monolith noun: a single great stone (often in the form of a column or obelisk). OK, so the literal meaning is just "single stone", but the "large" connotation is expected. Otherwise a field of pebbles could be thought of a "collection of monoliths". I suppose to a fairy or pixy it could be considered a monolith... Pedantry aside, my favorite bit of this is actually the fallen tree limb. It has a great weathered look.
